Frequently asked questions

1) Why should I use Fiona Smythe Introductions?

At Fiona Smythe Introductions we offer a very personal and discreet service so we get to know and thoroughly vet all our members. This helps us to know exactly what each member is looking for in a relationship. We are also very reasonably priced for the level of service we offer.

2) Where are we based?

Our offices are at 83, Victoria Street, SW1. The nearest tube stations are St. James's Park and Victoria. We are also close to Victoria main line rail and bus station. Please click on the link below to see a location map. You can call us on 020 3008 6560 (08:30 - 18:00).

3) How do I become a member?

You can either call us on 020 3008 6560 to make an appointment for your interview, or you can click on our online pre-registration form, fill that in and email it to us using the submit button. Alternatively you can email us by clicking on the email us button and attaching your contact details along with preferred contact times. We will then call you back to arrange your interview. Interviews last up to one hour.

4) What do I need at the interview?

You must bring -

a) your passport
b) a utility bill showing your home address plus one other form of identification
c) a recent photo

We cannot register you as a member unless you bring in all your id's.

5) What happens after the interview?

We produce a Profile Document which contains a brief outline of your personal details. We then use your Profile Document to match you against suitable other members and we will then talk to you about the other members. If you agree that you want to meet the other member we will then talk to that member about you whilst keeping yours and their personal details confidential. Only when both of you have agreed to meet each other will we give you the other members contact details.

If we do not make an introduction for you immediately do not worry! We have new members joining all the time.

6) How much does it all cost?

Members agree to pay a one off fee of £100 + VAT at point of registration (this is non-refundable).

At the point of a suitable partner being found and an introduction being arranged the member agrees to pay a fee of £20(inc VAT). This will be payable prior to the date being attended. All additional dates will be charged at a set fee of £20 per date, payable prior to that date being attended.

7) Is my personal information confidential?

We follow the procedures as set out under the 1998 Data Protection Act Part 2. Your personal information is confidential at all times. Only with your complete agreement do we release your name and phone number to another member strictly for the purposes of making their introduction to you.

8) What type of people have you registered?

We have a wide variety of members of both sexes covering all age groups and backgrounds. The vast majority of our members live in the Greater London area.
